OpenRadiation is a nonprofit educational initiative designed to provide a single database of environmental radiation measurements taken by citizens in France and around the globe. Data is centralized and displayed dynamically on a map. Citizens who contribute data can access a variety of collaborative tools that allow them to add comments to or discuss the data. The platform also provides other nonprofits and school groups with their own online workspaces for their own education and other projects relative to measuring radioactivity in the environment.
